Beeler Elementary

My name is Cheryl Cerdan and I have been the Beeler School Nurse since September, 2010. I have worked in the field of pediatrics for over 25 years, receiving my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing from Alfred University and my Certification in School Nursing from Rowan University. I am a member of the Burlington County School Nurses Association, certified in CPR/AED, and remain current in healthcare practices through continuing education.

I believe that children who are healthy learn better. Similarly, children with unmet health needs may have difficulty learning. For this reason, it is my goal as a school nurse to promote the health and safety of students and staff by identifying and caring for illness, performing health screenings that have a direct effect on learning, promoting health education for students, staff and parents, and performing other responsibilities that support a healthy school environment.
